Question: Resilio compatability with Drobo products

I understand that Resilio works well with Drobo 5N2. Does Resilio work with a direct attached Drobo or will it only work with Drobo 5N2?

I have found that some backup and sync. apps may not always copy files reliably from a system drive to a Drobo I hope to find an app that will work with direct attached Drobo products.
