Does the Resilio App for NAS transfer internal drive sync speeds at normal NAS hard drive transfer rates (as a remotely controlled application)?
GoodSync and Resilio both have App plugins for my Asustor NAS. However, GoodSync doesn't really work as an internal App like you would think. It just ties into their GoodSync client on your computer. This means your transfer speeds will not be the full 180MB/s rate as if you were using a typical Asustor (or QNAP, Synology, WD, etc.) file transfer applications. Of course none of the built in NAS file managers offer any syncing capabilities for my Asustor. GoodSync as an App plugin installed in the Asustor (even with their proprietary gstp protocol) only gets me about 10MB/s! I understand the limitations of network speeds and i know i can get about 170MB/s only if i'm directly connected to the NAS with a full 2.5GBe / 10BGe Cat8 Ethernet setup. GoodSync should have made a more remote viewable App - like all the other Apps work that are installed on my Asustor.
I'm hoping the Resilio Sync application is wisely built, works like a true internal App in my NAS, and transfers files from within my NAS to other drives on my NAS at full 170MB/s to 200MB/s rates. Hopefully without having to communicate with a client side software installed on my computer that would, seemingly, slow transfer rates to a crawl, when i'm using a computer remotely (wireless or via the web).
Thanks for any links, suggestions, or help!
